Sid Meier s Railroads

Sid Meier s games are nothing short of masterpieces is a known fact among strategy gamer s
You can build your own army and conquer the enemies by playing Sid Meier s Civilization, or you can play Sid Meier s Railroads and build your very own railroad empire. Sid Meier s Railroads is a real time strategy (RTS) game where as Sid Meier s Civilization 5 is a turn based strategy (TBS) game. Both are equally wonderful, is what I think.

Launch Sid Meier s Railroads, select the difficulty level of your choice and prepare yourself to transport passengers, mail and goods between different cities. Keep in mind that the shortest route will get the job done in the least time possible. So build tracks accordingly. However, bridges and tunnels are expensive, so it is difficult at times to select the shortest path. Sid Meier s Railroads is fast and action packed, you can even zoom in and watch your train deliver stuff from station to station.

There are three speed levels to control the game-play in Sid Meier s Railroads which can be effectively used either to save on time taken to complete a mission, or to achieve a high score by slowing the game down to the first level.

There are 5 difficulty levels, from which the most difficult ones, tycoon and robber baron are indeed difficult to master tasks. It can be said that your every second is at risk there.

Sid Meier s Railroads lets you control your railroad empire in many unique ways. You can lay single and  double tracks, build bridges, tunnels, deliver perishables, raw materials, finished products, passengers and mail; upgrade trains, terminals. Imagine playing and watching all of this on a large screen.

In Sid Meier s Railroads, you must control the shares as well. Keep a check on the opposition, if they buy you out, it s instant game over, the inverse holds true too, as you might have guessed. A suggestion would be to sell your shares during the initial stages of the game so that you have enough money to build your first few establishments then you can buy them again once you have the money.
